When Workshops Suck
I went to a workshop today and I was supposed to learn how to use CMS for our company website. Unfortunately, what I learned is that there is nothing more annoying than when the person leading the workshop doesn’t take time to find out if he is working with advanced or novice computer users. It is really annoying to have someone explain to me what a Hyperlink is when I have been using computers since I was well, born. not to mention that most of us at the workshop were either webmasters, content managers, bloggers, and- most of all- smart.
It was a waste of time.
