It’s All Fun and Games

My husband and I love to play games. We play everything from Monopoly to Outburst to Chess. My favorite game to play is pool. Unfortunately, the only place that we can go with a 19-month old, is a game hall called SportTime USA. It is a fun family place with video games, Skeet-ball, and of course pool. What sucks is that they don’t have one decent pool table or pool ball rack. Their tables are not flat and the racks are rather warped. And you know what happens when you have warped tables and warped racks?

People get hurt. Unsuspecting people who are standing at a video game watching get pinged in the head with a 7-ball all because someone was trying to rack the table with a ball rack that was distorted. When he attempted to squeeze the balls into the rack, one popped out and hit the unsuspecting person on the head.

Thank God it wasn’t me. Or my husband. It must have hurt. It sure looked like it did. The young man who was dinged, jumped and turned around with blood in his eyes. He began screaming that he was going to murder someone, and then, he started off toward the young man who was racking the balls. For a moment we were worried that someone was going to get, well, effed up. The target victim was PO’d. He was screaming expletives and as he charged over to the culprit, all I could say to my hubby was, man this place needs new pool ball racks.

LOL
