It Tastes So Sweet

Revenge is, at times, the only thing that can comfort us on those cold nights that remind us of just how cruel the world can be to us. And no one, and I mean no one, wears the look of revenge as well as Johnny Depp does in his new movie Sweeny Todd. Just visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site or visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace to see what I mean. And once you have watched the trailers, head on over to Confess to the Demon Barber” Confessional.

Why?

Well, if you are like me, you have probably thought about the most perfect act of revenge. You have plotted exactly what you would do to pay back someone who has wronged you. And, if you are like Sweeny Todd, you actually followed through on those plans. Either way, you should tell someone. Share your darkest secrets with strangers and preserve your identity while receiving credit for what you have done (or planned to do). You can confess via video or through a written statement. Either way, you get to tell it all. Anonymously.

And what is my confession?

Well, I sent incriminating evidence about a friend’s spouse to said friend. Then I forwarded message board post that the spouse had written badmouthing her husband and his family to him as well. I did this only after she emailed my blog address to my SIL, who I did not want to read it. Then today, after reading Dashboard Confessionals, I read a post that seemed that the spouse knew what I was doing.

So what is your confession?
