I am going to a brunch for a Meetup group that I joined last week for parents of bi-racial/multi-racial children. I spoke to one of the other members who lives close to me and we have so much in common. Her daughter is 4 months old. She is a teacher and she doesn’t have a lot of friends with children. We spoke for almost two hours tonight and I could really see myself becoming friends with her. I hope it works out. And, if this lunch goes well, maybe I will join more of these groups.
