The Nerve

I was in the store with my husband and Mya and this woman called me Mya’s nanny. Can you believe that? She automatically assumed that b/c I am black and my daughter is light, I was the nanny. I didn’t say anything b/c I was in shock (a first for me) and now I am so angry that I didn’t.
