When I was growing up it was almost imperative that I call adults by their proper titles. All of my teachers were Ms/Mrs/Mr/Dr, etc. Friends of the family were Aunt/Uncle or Mr/Mrs./Ms whatever.

When I was growing up, we did not butt-in to adult conversations, or curse at them, or talk back to them.

So what has changed? Why are children today so obnoxious?

Just wondering.

I couldn’t agree more. I am twenty-one years old and I still use my manners! I used to tutor at an after school program and you would be surprised at the things I heard fly out of my second graders’ mouths!
