How to plan a Vacation to Britain

It’s no secret that I love dreaming of traveling. I am sure that once we can actually afford to travel, I will actually love to travel. But, in the meantime, I plan trips to different countries because it makes me feel good. Most recently, I decided to plan a trip to Britain. I don’t know anything about the UK, so I looked to the web to research Great Britain because It’s hard to plan a trip if you don’t know where you want to go.

361-400x-750px-notting_hill_carnival_1_-_august_2006.jpgI could never go to Great Britain and miss London. I absolutely have to see Notting Hill’s Portobello Market. There are places to shop, are galleries to visit, and great food to eat. What more could I ask for? Oh accommodations. Finding hotels in London that are beautiful and close to as many attractions as possible and won’t cost an arm and a leg is a necessity. I like the idea of apartment-style rooms because you can save a lot of money on food if you can cook your own.

I would love to catch a ballet or even just sample some of the great food available it the cafes and restaurants. I would also go to URBIS because th interactive exhibits are great for my daughter. Manchester seems like a great place to go with family and friends and you can always find hotels in Manchester that offer group rates.

I would probably find a hotel in Birmingham because it is right between London and Manchester so ideally, we could visit all three places during the course of our stay.

Wow, I’m tired just thinking about this. Now, I can’t wait to actually be able to go.
