Why do I always wait until the last minute to do work for grad school? Before I had a baby, that was cool- stay up all night, bang out a 15 page paper, and forget it even happened. Unfortunately, times are changing. I can’t do this anymore. I have way too much to balance. And yet, here I am am, less than 48 hours from the due date, and I am trying to finish a killer Unit Plan Reflection complete with text, examples, lessons, and more. I’m going crazy.

The procrastination does not end with grade school. We just ordered Christmas gifts and i am praying that they get here before next Saturday. Oh, and still no Christmas decoration and I’m feeling a little bummed that Mimi’s first Christmas is not the way I imagined. I know she won’t remember, but still, I wish I had more time.

We bought a new car this weekend. It is a champagne colored, previously-owned, Altima. A 2002 with onl 17,000 miles. It is technically my car, but I can;t drive it until I get my license. I hope I get it soon because Mr. Mancub won’t be able to pick me up from school anymore.

Oh, Mimi got her first tooth. It’s so cute! I have not been able to get a good picture of it so you’ll just have to take my word for it. The only symptom of teething that she had was excessive drooling. She was cranky for a little bit three days ago, but I think it had more to do with her being tired than anything else.

I have to send Christmas cards out- of course I waited until the last minute.
